Ballet
The focus for ballet for ages 9 to 11 shifts toward working all basic leg positions in relevé and introducing turning techniques. Coordination between arms, legs, and head becomes essential, as well as balance and stability. Each exercise is accompanied by classical music to develop a sense of rhythm and musicality. At this level, students begin their introductory pointe work, which marks a milestone in their training. Dancing en pointe brings a magical quality to movement, allowing students to express elegance and virtuosity with strength and confidence.
