Ballet
The primary goal in ballet class for 6-8 year old’s is to achieve proper body alignment, focus, and breathing control—ensuring that breathing remains steady without visible abdominal movement. The class is structured into floorwork, barre, center work, and allegro. At this level, students begin to develop a more conscious understanding of turnout (en dehors), with increased emphasis on leg lines and footwork. By the end of the course, students are expected to have memorized and performed at least 25 different ballet steps both theoretically and practically.
